#MCHStigers05
Martin County High School Class of 2005
This past weekend was my high school class 10 year reunion.
Holy cow.
There was a decent turnout of past classmates in attendance and we partied like it was high school. My husband speculated multiple times on what a crazy bunch we must have been.
And we were crazy.
Well, we still are.
The festivities were physically exhausting!
(As a mother of two young ones, staying up much later than 11p is truly brutal!)
I did have the sincere pleasure of photographing the party on Saturday night. Although I do wish I had taken pictures at the unofficial party on Friday night, as well.
I am adding some of the photos to my Facebook page, Samantha Barfield Photography, but I will upload all of them to Dropbox so they may be downloaded by the party-goers.
Here are just a few to represent how the evening went...
The DJ for the evening was also a former Tiger '05 and a dear friend of mine.
I was glad to be a 'vendor' at this event with him.
Cheerleaders!!
This one is here because my husband knew more people than I did at my reunion.
(We did not go to the same high school!)

Violet's First Birthday
Violet has been a client of mine since before she was born. Her perfectly round face is exaggerated by her big chunky cheeks. She turns one shortly and her parents love having sessions done to memorialize the moments.
And I'm sure there will be more at her fabulous party in a few weeks.
Oh, these little feet.
{and those shoes, too!}
Mommy handmade those flower crowns.
And if you'll recall, she had one on during her maternity session last summer, as well.
Daddy daughter pictures are so sweet.
I love when I am able to capture these fleeting moments.
Seriously precious. This family is so amazingly beautiful. And Scott and Elaine are some of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
What a joy it is to be able to photograph them so regularly.
I love watching Violet grow up right in front of my lens.

Anniversary Trip 2015!!
Florida Keys 2015!
This was our 6th wedding anniversary, on 7/11. With Tanner being in medical school, we don't often get time to our selves. We haven't had a vacation in a while and we won't have one again for years. YEARS. So here is our trip, in a nutshell.
We did a lot of grilling and sitting. We basically ate, drank, and sat for four days straight. No complaints. It was amazing weather and the best view of the ocean.
Shrimp and scallops and veggies e'ry day.
This is our downstairs room, and our upgraded room was right above that. OMG.
I think we read 6 books between the two of us :-) But Tanner never left that hammock.
Sunset over the Gulf
That was it. Food. Drink. Books. We are just bums and we love it. Happy anniversary to us!

Orlando Family and 1st Birthday Session
This session was for grandma and grandpa. Momma, K, has her parents in town from Canada and wanted to give them a session with their only grandson on his first birthday. Hubby was busy but that didn't stop the little family from pouring out love. Baby J was happy and all giggles that afternoon.
He's a blessed little boy to have so many people that adore him in his life!

Family Fun, Down Town Stuart <3
This family was so fun! The boys were two years apart, just like my boys! I got a little peak into my very own future. Boys are a handful but I'm so excited to experience the craziness they will bring to our lives.
Anyways, what a fun session near down town Stuart, Florida. It was warm and so so sunny. Much sunnier than I expected. But it was a beautiful day. Everyone just glowed.
I love that the boys looked different in every single shot. They were constantly changing expressions and being goofy. It was so fun!
